Responding to the mission we have been given by Jesus Christ, we are active around the world. Through Aktion Weltbibelhilfe (World Bible Support), our fundraising campaign for international project work, we support Bible translation and distribution worldwide, helping everybody to obtain the Bible in their mother language. This international dimension is a major element of the way we define ourselves as Christians.

However, as a non-profit Church foundation based in Stuttgart, Germany, we are not only involved in raising funds for Aktion Weltbibelhilfe. We have extensive publishing activities, too. The income we earn from publishing also goes to Bible-related missionary projects in Germany and around the world. So, whether we are raising funds or selling Bibles, our work is always dedicated to serving people and their well-being.

We are not alone in our efforts to make God’s Word known around the world. In order to be able to systematically promote Bible-related missionary projects internationally, we are part of a strong network: the United Bible Societies (UBS). This worldwide association of over 145 national Bible Societies guarantees that donations are used exactly where they are needed – for appropriate projects designed to meet the needs of the respective country.

Working together with churches and Christian associations across all denominations is one of the principles of the United Bible Societies. This ensures that every euro donated in Germany goes to trustworthy projects. In addition, every request for project assistance is carefully reviewed by the UBS.

Transparency is extremely important to us when it comes to using funds, both nationally and internationally. Every aspect of how we manage donations is subject to triple auditing: first by the tax authorities; second by the regional procedures for supervising foundations operated by the Baden-Wuerttemberg Ministry of Education and Culture; and third by the German Protestant Church. So you can be sure that your donation will be used according to your wishes and in compliance with legal provisions.
